Marvel fans have had their eyes glued to the screen ever since Daredevil: Born Again premiered. With Charlie Cox returning as the fearless Matt Murdock, the series quickly reignited excitement across the Marvel fandom. Now, after the thrilling conclusion of its first season in April 2025, viewers are eagerly awaiting what’s next—and luckily, the wait won’t be for nothing.
Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again is officially in the works. Originally, the series was planned to span 18 episodes in a single season, but only eight made it to air in the first installment. As reported by Collider, the storyline has since been divided into two separate seasons.
Executive producer Sana Amanat and showrunner Dario Scardapane confirmed that the creative decision was intentional, allowing the narrative to evolve over a longer arc. Amanat also expressed her satisfaction with how season 1 wrapped up, adding that she’s “very happy” with the outcome and is “excited to see what comes next.”
While Marvel Studios has yet to release an official synopsis for the second season, there’s plenty of buzz from the cast. Charlie Cox called the upcoming storylines “some of my favorite stuff I’ve read of Daredevil.” Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays the menacing Wilson Fisk, teased, “By the end of season 2, there’s something quite amazing I feel is going to happen.”
The next chapter of Daredevil: Born Again will bring back familiar faces. Charlie Cox will return as Matt Murdock, while D’Onofrio reprises his role as Fisk. According to Deadline, Deborah Ann Woll is also set to return as Karen Page, and Jon Bernthal will step back into the boots of Frank Castle, aka The Punisher. Elden Henson will once again appear as Foggy Nelson, Murdock’s trusted friend and legal partner.
In addition, The Wrap reported that Genneya Walton, who portrayed BB Urich, has been spotted on set, hinting at her return. Wilson Bethel is also expected to reprise his role as the deadly Bullseye.
Fans can also look forward to new additions in the upcoming season. Matthew Lillard and Lili Taylor are joining the cast in undisclosed roles, sparking even more curiosity about the twists and turns ahead.
With the return of key characters, fresh faces, and promises of dramatic developments, Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again is shaping up to be a thrilling continuation of the vigilante’s journey in Hell’s Kitchen.
