A Milestone Moment for Davido

“This 5ive album? Man, it means everything to me. It’s more than just a number — it’s a statement of where I stand, five albums in… Different sounds, different cultures, but one vibe! This one right here shows my growth, my journey and where I am now in my life and my artistry.”
Following the Success of ‘Timeless’
5ive comes two years after Davido’s 2023 hit album Timeless, which made waves by:
- Reaching No. 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart
- Peaking at No. 37 on the Billboard 200
- Earning a Grammy nomination for Best Global Music Album
His track “Unavailable” featuring Musa Keys hit No. 3 on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart and also received a Grammy nod.
Davido was also nominated again this year for “Sensational” with Chris Brown and Lojay, which became both artists’ first-ever entries on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 71.
