The movie Degree Maila: MA 3rd Class, directed by Ram Babu Gurung, has been released on YouTube. By the time this news was written, the film had been watched 750,000 times since its release on Monday evening.
The movie, which was released in theaters on Baisakh 1, 2081, features actors Dayahang Rai, Aanchal Sharma, Bijay Baral, and Maotse Gurung in key roles. It tells the story of an educated but unemployed man and is inspired by Dayahang Rai’s popular play Degree Maila. The film performed well at the box office.
The movie was made available on Baasuri Films’ official YouTube channel. Recently, two other films, Highway and Seto Surya, directed by Deepak Rauniyar, were also released on the same platform.
Earlier, Degree Maila was released in theaters and on OTT platforms with some changes to the story. However, the YouTube version has a runtime of 2 hours and 13 minutes.
