The teaser released earlier this year gave fans a glimpse into Kriti’s intense and layered character. The haunting background score teased a soulful musical journey crafted by the legendary A.R. Rahman, with lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil. Director Aanand L Rai previously mentioned that the film is thematically rooted in his 2013 classic Raanjhanaa, but with a fresh narrative and deeper emotions. “It is from the world of Raanjhanaa, but it’s an expansion rather than an extension,” he explained.
