Earlier, the ICT Foundation Nepal had successfully organized a similar event — the Digital Karnali Conclave — on Baisakh 9 and 10 in Surkhet. The Madhesh edition aims to build on that success with direct involvement from provincial governments.
Supporting Future Policy and Budget
Organizers believe that this conclave will help influence the upcoming fiscal year’s plans and budget, especially in giving priority to digital development and the ICT sector in the Madhesh Province.
Over 300 Participants Expected
Being held for the first time, the Digital Madhesh Conclave is expected to see the participation of over 300 people, including representatives from local governments, ministries, and ICT-related stakeholders.
