A 39-year-old Nepali woman, Dikshya Dahal, has died under suspicious circumstances in Sydney, Australia. She reportedly fell from the seventh floor of an apartment block in Parramatta six days ago.

According to The Daily Mail, two hours before her death, a call was made to Australia’s emergency number (000) from the apartment. During the call, loud noises and heated arguments were heard in the background.

However, there was no proper conversation during the call, and further attempts by emergency services to reconnect were unsuccessful, said investigator Barry Vincent.

When Parramatta police contacted Dahal’s husband, 40-year-old Rabindra Subedi, they were already informed about the incident.

As part of the initial investigation, the police arrested Subedi for questioning. After a preliminary inquiry and failing to find further evidence at the time, he was released.

Dahal worked as a nurse in Australia and had married Subedi a few years ago. However, the couple had faced issues in their relationship, which had previously required police intervention, according to 7News.

Recently, the two had stopped living together. Police are continuing their investigation by reviewing CCTV footage and other technical evidence.
