Actress Diya Poon has successfully climbed Mount Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe. According to her expedition group, Elite Expedition, she reached the summit at 10 AM on Tuesday, standing at an impressive height of 5,642 meters.

Diya herself shared the exciting news on her social media platforms. She is currently on a mission to climb the highest peaks on all seven continents, known as the “Seven Summits” challenge. Before conquering Mount Elbrus, she had already scaled Mount Everest in Nepal, Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, and Aconcagua in South America.

During the climb, Diya carried the national flag of Nepal, along with the flags of the Tamang community and the British Gurkha, showcasing her pride and heritage at the top of the mountain.
Next Goals: North America, Antarctica, and Indonesia
Diya’s next targets include Denali, the tallest peak in North America located in Alaska, Mount Vinson in Antarctica, and Puncak Jaya in Indonesia. She admits that climbing these mountains takes time and effort, especially since mountaineering is expensive and she also has commitments as a nurse and film actress.

Alongside her adventurous spirit, Diya works as a nurse and is active in the film industry. Her recent film, Aklo (The Lonely), which features her as an astronaut named Poon, was showcased at the Cannes Film Market. Last year, she starred in the hit movie Dayarani, which received great acclaim.
