Ranveer’s new villain is not who you thought
There was buzz earlier that South star Vijay Deverakonda might play the villain in Don 3, but recent updates have put that rumour to rest. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the real antagonist in the film is none other than Vikrant Massey. The actor, known for his versatile performances, is all set to take on the most challenging role of his career.
Vikrant Massey to transform for the role
In Don 3, Vikrant will play a cunning mastermind who deceives people with his smooth-talking skills. His character will also be involved in high-stake scams, and to portray this intense role, Vikrant will undergo a physical transformation, including gaining weight and learning martial arts for a grand face-off scene with Ranveer Singh in the climax.
Vijay Deverakonda not part of Don 3
Contrary to previous speculation, Vijay Deverakonda will not appear in Don 3. Reports now confirm that the villain’s role was always meant for Vikrant Massey. The confusion may have arisen due to Vijay’s current visibility with his film Kingdom, but there’s no connection between him and this project.
Shooting to begin in January 2026
The makers of Don 3 have planned to begin shooting in January 2026. With Ranveer Singh leading the franchise and Vikrant Massey stepping in as the main villain, fans can expect an intense action drama with smart storytelling.
