Dr. Dhundhiraj Bhattarai has been appointed as the new chairperson of the Nepal Water Supply Corporation.
According to Pramiladevi Shakya Bajracharya, Secretary at the Ministry of Water Supply, his appointment follows Clause 8.1.1 of the Nepal Water Supply Corporation Act, 2046 (with amendments). He will serve a three-year term based on a ministerial-level decision, as outlined in Clause 11.1 of the same Act.
Dr. Bhattarai is a permanent resident of Bhumikasthan Municipality–9 in Arghakhanchi.
