A couple has been found dead in Jana Jagaran Community Forest of Punarbas Municipality-9, Kanchanpur.
The deceased have been identified as 68-year-old Sagaram Bhul and his 66-year-old wife Ganga Devi Bhul, residents of Ward 9 (B) of Punarbas Municipality.
According to SP Chakra Raj Joshi of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, the couple had left their home on Baisakh 11 (April 23) to go to the wife’s parental home following a family dispute. When they did not make any contact, their relatives filed a missing persons report at the Area Police Office in Tribhuvan Basti the next day.
SP Joshi stated that on Monday evening, both were found hanging from separate trees with shawls in the middle of the community forest.
