ELECRAMA 2025, the world’s largest electrical exhibition, is set to take place in Greater Noida at the India Expo Mart from February 22 to 26, 2025. Organized by the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA), this premier event will bring together global industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to explore the latest advancements in the electrical and power sectors. The exhibition is positioned to highlight key innovations, foster collaborations, and promote sustainability in an industry that is crucial for modern infrastructure.

With a strong focus on India’s rapidly growing power sector, which is projected to expand at a rate of 7% annually, ELECRAMA 2025 will serve as a significant platform for Indian suppliers to showcase their technological expertise to a global audience. The event will feature participation from 75 countries, with exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge technologies ranging from renewable energy solutions to smart grid innovations. The exhibition’s global reach emphasizes India’s pivotal role in shaping the future of the electrical industry.

A major highlight of this year’s exhibition will be ABC Transformers, known for its focus on innovation in transformer technologies. The company will present advanced solutions, including skid-mounted and pad-mounted transformers, addressing industry challenges. Gurinder Bansal, Director of ABC Transformers, emphasized the importance of the exhibition, stating, “ELECRAMA 2025 provides us with an exceptional opportunity to showcase our latest transformer technologies on a global stage.”

In addition to ABC Transformers, other key players such as NEC will also present groundbreaking technologies. NEC’s smart energy management systems are designed to optimize electricity consumption and improve overall efficiency in energy usage. Prashant Srivastava, Managing Director of NEC, noted, “Our goal is to elevate the industry by providing advanced and reliable energy solutions, and ELECRAMA 2025 is an important milestone in this journey.”

HPL Electric & Power is set to unveil a pioneering smart metering solution in collaboration with Wirepas. The ‘Wirepas certified in-meter gateway’ promises to revolutionize smart metering by eliminating the need for dedicated gateways and improving device connectivity. This innovation is expected to simplify the rollout of smart metering systems, reducing costs and enhancing efficiency.

The exhibition goes beyond displaying innovations, providing ample networking opportunities for industry giants, policymakers, and startups to collaborate on shaping the future of the electrical sector. With substantial backing from the Indian government, which has invested over ₹3 lakh crore in power sector development, ELECRAMA 2025 also aligns with India’s strategic goals to strengthen its position in the global supply chain for electrical solutions.

Sustainability is a key theme of ELECRAMA 2025, with eco-friendly initiatives including electric vehicle transport for guests and biodegradable materials used throughout the exhibition. The event is set to highlight sustainable practices in the electrical sector, reflecting the industry’s growing focus on reducing environmental impact.

India’s electrical sector, currently valued at $70 billion, is expected to reach $130 billion by 2030, driven by a surge in domestic manufacturing and exports. ELECRAMA 2025 plays a vital role in supporting the ‘Make in India’ initiative, attracting both national and international investment. The exhibition’s pavilions will focus on modern trends such as Green Energy, digitalization, and automation, offering valuable insights into the future direction of the industry.

As ELECRAMA 2025 draws near, the power sector is on the brink of a transformative era. The exhibition promises to be a pivotal event, bringing together the brightest minds in the industry to explore new solutions and drive sustainability for the future of energy. With innovation at the forefront, this global event will set the stage for the next chapter in the evolution of the electrical and power sectors.
