Bollywood actor Esha Gupta has finally spoken up about her much-talked-about link-up with Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya. In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan on YouTube, Esha opened up about the rumours, explaining the truth behind their connection.
“We Were Just Talking, Not Dating”
Esha Gupta clarified that while she and Hardik were in touch for a short period, they were never officially a couple. “Yeah, for some time we were talking. I don’t think we were dating,” she said. According to her, the two were in a “maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t” phase, which ended before anything serious began.
She added, “We met once or twice. That’s it. So yeah, it was a couple of months, and then it ended.” Esha emphasized there was no drama or hard feelings involved. “It just wasn’t meant to be,” she said, mentioning that timing and compatibility didn’t work out.
Esha’s Take on the ‘Koffee With Karan’ Controversy
Esha also addressed the infamous 2019 ‘Koffee With Karan’ episode that brought Hardik Pandya into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. The cricketer faced criticism for making misogynistic remarks on the show. Esha, who had already moved on by then, said the controversy didn’t affect her since they were no longer in touch. She had previously called out the episode publicly, like many other celebrities.
