EXO’s Baekhyun Takes Legal Action Against Cyberbullies Through INB100

EXO member Baekhyun is taking a firm stand against online harassment. On April 16, 2025, his current agency, INB100, announced that it has officially filed a criminal complaint targeting individuals responsible for spreading malicious and defamatory content online.

The agency revealed that, with help from fans, it has been actively monitoring various online platforms — including social media, online communities, and Daum cafes — to gather evidence of harmful behavior. The offenses cited include defamation, personal insults, the dissemination of false information, and even instances of s*xual harassment directed at the artist.

According to INB100, the criminal complaint was formally submitted to the Gwangjin Police Station on April 15, 2025. The company emphasized its zero-tolerance stance on online abuse, stating: “We have been collecting evidence of malicious posts and comments targeting our artist Baekhyun through constant monitoring and fan reports. Based on this information, we filed a criminal complaint with the Gwangjin Police Station for defamation, insult, spreading false information, and sexual harassment.”

INB100 further stated that it will continue its surveillance and analysis of online content while reviewing all materials submitted by fans. The agency stressed that there will be no leniency or out-of-court settlements, and that all violations will be met with decisive legal action.

Expressing gratitude to the fanbase, INB100 thanked those who have remained vigilant and encouraged continued support by reporting any harmful content. The agency assured fans and the public that it will uphold its commitment to protecting Baekhyun’s rights and dignity.

This move marks another instance of a K-pop agency taking a firm legal approach to tackle the growing issue of cyberbullying in the entertainment industry.

Baekhyun, who debuted with EXO in 2012, has enjoyed massive success both as a group member and solo artist. In 2023, he made headlines after a dispute with SM Entertainment over his exclusive contract, eventually parting ways with the label. He later signed with INB100, where he reunited with fellow EXO members Chen and Xiumin.
