Marvel has dropped the final trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and it’s packed with drama, retro vibes, and a cosmic threat like never before.
Silver Surfer and Galactus Take the Spotlight
The trailer reveals Julia Garner as the voice of the Silver Surfer, a cosmic herald delivering a chilling message: Galactus is coming to devour Earth. This two-minute-24-second glimpse also marks the first official look at Ralph Ineson’s terrifying Galactus — a monstrous, planet-consuming force that threatens humanity’s existence.
Meet Marvel’s First Family in a 1960s World
Set in a stylized retro-futuristic Earth, the film introduces Marvel’s iconic superhero team — Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm aka Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm aka The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). Viewers also get a sneak peek at their baby son Franklin Richards and their humorous robotic sidekick H.E.R.B.I.E., voiced by Matthew Wood.
The Stakes Couldn’t Be Higher
While Galactus looms above Earth, the Fantastic Four are left shaken. In a tense moment, Mister Fantastic admits to a reporter, “I don’t know what comes next.” The team battles fear and uncertainty, not just for the planet’s survival, but for the safety of their child.
A Legacy of the Fantastic Four
Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1961, the Fantastic Four has seen several screen versions. The 2005 and 2007 films featured Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, and Michael Chiklis. A reboot came in 2015 starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell.
