Fawad Khan’s Bollywood Comeback Faces MNS Opposition in Maharashtra

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s highly anticipated return to Bollywood has hit a roadblock due to political opposition in Maharashtra. The teaser for his upcoming film Abir Gulaal, co-starring Vaani Kapoor, was released on Tuesday, generating excitement among fans. However, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has strongly objected to the film’s release in the state.

MNS Opposes Abir Gulaal Release

As per reports from Dainik Bhaskar, MNS leader Ameya Khopkar declared that the party will not permit the film’s screening in Maharashtra due to Fawad Khan’s involvement. Khopkar stated, “We only learned about this film today when the makers released the teaser. We are making it clear that we will not allow its release in Maharashtra because it features a Pakistani actor.”
