FIFTY FIFTY’s Keena Suspends Activities Due to PTSD Following Legal Confrontation

FIFTY FIFTY member Keena has officially stepped away from group activities after being diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), her agency ATTRAKT confirmed on May 9.

According to a report by Dispatch, Keena’s mental health took a significant hit following a recent police interrogation involving An Sung Il, CEO of The Givers. Last year in August, Keena filed a legal complaint against An Sung Il, accusing him of forging her signature and unlawfully registering a mere 0.5% of the copyright for the hit song “Cupid” in her name.

The turning point reportedly came on April 15 when Keena, accompanied by her legal counsel, faced An Sung Il directly during a two-hour session at the Gangnam Police Station. The intense confrontation appears to have triggered severe PTSD symptoms, including vomiting, auditory hallucinations, insomnia, and loss of appetite.

Shortly after the interrogation, Keena alerted the agency to her deteriorating condition. ATTRAKT responded by suspending her promotional activities, stating, “Following her face-to-face with An Sung Il, Keena began suffering from significant physical and psychological distress. Symptoms of PTSD have emerged, and we’ve decided to pause her activities to focus on her recovery.”

FIFTY FIFTY had recently returned to the music scene on April 29 with their third mini album Day and Night. However, Keena has been absent from all promotional events, with her agency citing health concerns during the first week of the comeback.

Keena’s temporary hiatus underscores the mounting pressures and personal toll behind the scenes in the K-pop industry, especially in cases involving legal disputes and unresolved trauma.
