A fire destroyed the house of Harka Tamang in Mehele, Sidingba Rural Municipality-6. The three-story house, made of stone, mud, and tin roofing, caught fire on Tuesday evening.
According to Police Inspector and Information Officer Bibek Basnet, the fire caused damage worth over six lakh rupees. The fire started in the kitchen while cooking.
After losing their home, the six-member family has taken shelter with neighbors.
