The makers of Aashiqui 3 have unveiled the first-look teaser of the film, starring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela, on Saturday. Directed and written by Anurag Basu, the film is scheduled for a Diwali release this year.

In the teaser, Kartik Aaryan, with a striking beard, is seen performing on stage at a grand concert, reminiscent of the iconic opening scene from Aashiqui 2. The teaser also shows Kartik and Sreeleela sharing romantic moments in the mountains and enjoying bike rides together. A touching moment in the video features a beautiful rendition of the song Tu Hi Zindagi Hai, Tu Hi Aashiqui Hai by Vishal Mishra.

Pritam, a long-time collaborator of Anurag Basu, is composing the music for this highly anticipated film. The movie is being produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the T-Series banner.

The original Aashiqui, released in 1990, was directed by Mahesh Bhatt and starred Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal. With music by Nadeem-Shravan and memorable lyrics from Sameer, Rani Mallik, and Madan Pal, the film became a huge hit.

A spiritual sequel, Aashiqui 2, was released in 2013. Directed by Mohit Suri, it starred Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor and became a massive success. The music, composed by Jeet Gannguli, Mithoon, and Ankit Tiwari, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, Sandeep Nath, Sanjay Masoomm, and Mithoon, became anthems for fans everywhere.
