First National Dairy Expo Launches in Bharatpur Highlighting Industry Innovations 1


The first National Dairy Expo has started today, Friday, in Bharatpur. The exhibition, held at the Exhibition Center (Expo Center) on Bharatpur’s Telecommunication Road, was inaugurated by the Minister of Agriculture, Ramnath Adhikari.

The exhibition, organized jointly by the Chitwan Industry Association and the Chitwan District Milk Producers Cooperative Association, will run for three days until Magh 27.

The purpose of the exhibition is to bring farmers, industrialists, and businesspeople together in one place, to provide information on new tools and technologies in the dairy industry. The President of the Chitwan District Milk Producers Cooperative Association, Kishor Bagale, stated that the exhibition will also involve discussions on the challenges and issues faced by the sector while exploring its potential.

The exhibition features nearly 100 stalls, showcasing machinery and equipment essential for the dairy and animal feed industries, dairy software, dairy products, milk cooperatives, livestock materials, feed, medicine, and dairy packaging industries.

Madan Ghimire, the Acting President of the Chitwan Industry Association, expects the exhibition to help increase local production and expand markets to international levels. The organizers estimate that around 50,000 visitors will attend the exhibition. Farmers, students, policymakers, as well as new entrepreneurs planning to enter the dairy industry, will benefit from this event, according to Ghimire.
