Five people have been arrested from the green Charkose Jhadi in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-19 with a muzzleloader gun and other weapons.
On Saturday night, police seized one muzzleloader gun, three iron bullets for the gun, two shotgun bullets, some gunpowder, and one khukuri.
Among those arrested is 35-year-old Jyotish Chaudhary from Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-13, along with four others.
A team from the Area Police Office in Dharan stopped a car (registration number Ba.4 Cha 433) heading towards Ras Lake from Dharan. During the search, they discovered the weapons and arrested the individuals in the vehicle.
Police have stated that further investigation is ongoing.
