According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the country is currently experiencing a mild effect of westerly winds, with fog covering many areas of the Terai region and parts of the hilly areas in Gandaki Province.
The department stated that on Wednesday afternoon, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas and clear in other parts of the country. At night, there may be partial clouds in the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim Province, while the rest of the country will have mainly clear skies.
The department has predicted fog in many areas of the Terai and Kathmandu Valley for Thursday morning. It warned that this could affect daily life, health, transportation, and air travel and urged everyone concerned to take necessary precautions.
