Four Indian Nationals Arrested for Running Online Gambling Worth Over 2 Billion

Police have arrested four Indian nationals for allegedly running an online gambling operation worth over 2 billion rupees.

The arrested individuals are 22-year-old MD Arif Hussain from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh; 42-year-old Abdul Kalam from Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh; 25-year-old Abhishek Madesia from Gorakhpur; and 40-year-old Irfan Pathan from Fatehpur.

They were arrested by a team from Maharajgunj Police Circle and Budhanilkantha Police Station.

According to SP and spokesperson Apil Raj Bohora of Kathmandu District Police, the suspects had rented a house in Taulung, Budhanilkantha, where they were running online gambling and betting activities.

Police have obtained a five-day detention order for further investigation.
