G-Dragon’s ‘Übermensch’ Media Exhibition Expands from Tokyo to Taipei with Unique Immersive Experiences

G-Dragon is taking his media exhibition, G-DRAGON Media Exhibition: Übermensch, beyond Tokyo, expanding it to Taiwan next.

The exhibition will debut in Tokyo from July 12 to July 21 at the Sumitomo Building’s Triangle Square in Shinjuku, a prime location in the city’s bustling heart. This massive indoor venue spans 2,600 square meters—over three times larger than The Hyundai Seoul—highlighting G-Dragon’s immense popularity in Japan.

What makes this Tokyo event unique is its open format, allowing fans to freely explore the space. Visitors can wear tattoo stickers inspired by the album’s concept and immerse themselves in a large area decorated with daisies, symbolizing G-Dragon and creating a festival-like atmosphere dedicated entirely to him.

After the Tokyo run, the exhibition will move to Taipei 101 in Taiwan, running from July 17 to August 11. Unlike Tokyo’s open and festive setting, the Taiwan exhibition will be a multi-floor immersive experience spread across three levels of the iconic skyscraper. It will focus on creating deep engagement through immersion, interaction, and feedback, offering fans a distinct way to connect with the exhibit.

A teaser video for the Taipei show was recently shared on the event’s official social channels, quickly gaining traction. The clip features G-Dragon’s music video playing on a retro TV in a neon-lit alley, with the illuminated Taipei 101 tower in the background, announcing the upcoming exhibition. The stylish preview has excited fans in Taiwan.

Centered on the theme of ‘Übermensch’, which is the core of G-Dragon’s third full-length album, the exhibition uses digital media art to bring this concept to life. Following the showcases in Tokyo and Taipei, the exhibition is planned to travel to more cities worldwide, connecting with fans across the globe.
