Gal Gadot Speaks on Social Media

Hollywood actress Gal Gadot, best known for her role in Wonder Woman, has voiced her concerns about the growing influence of social media on young minds, particularly young girls. As a mother of four daughters—Alma, Maya, Daniella, and Ori—Gadot believes the unrealistic standards set by social media can be detrimental to their self-image.

In an interview with DuJour magazine, the actress shared how different her childhood was compared to that of her children. “Growing up was so much simpler for me. My kids are growing up in a world filled with filters and curated content,” she explained. She often reminds her daughters that the highly edited and polished images they see online do not reflect reality. “I tell them, ‘What you see out there isn’t real. It’s all filtered and altered.’ It creates a confusing world for young girls,” she added.

Despite her fame, Gadot prioritizes her family life and embraces the chaos that comes with raising four children. Unlike her own quiet upbringing, she describes her home now as filled with noise, laughter, and emotions. “If you step into my house, you’ll hear laughter, arguments, and even tears. It’s a whirlwind of emotions, and I love it,” she said.

Balancing her career and motherhood has been challenging, but Gadot credits her husband, businessman Jaron Varsano, and their support system for helping her manage it all. “I juggle as much as I can. We have help, and my husband is an amazing father. But I don’t sleep much,” she admitted.

Apart from discussing social media and family, Gadot also opened up about a recent health scare. The actress revealed that she faced a life-threatening situation in early 2024 when doctors discovered a blood clot in her brain just before she gave birth to her youngest daughter, Ori. Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she recalled experiencing severe headaches for weeks before receiving the correct diagnosis. Initially dismissed as migraines, her symptoms led her mother to insist on an MRI, which ultimately revealed the serious condition. “The moment they found out, I was rushed to the hospital. They delivered the baby immediately, and I underwent a thrombectomy,” she shared.

Despite the ordeal, Gadot remains grateful for her recovery and continues to balance her Hollywood career with the joys and challenges of motherhood. “It’s never easy to juggle both, but family always comes first,” she emphasized.
