Three people were injured when a gas cylinder exploded in the temporary capital of Sudurpashchim, Dhangadhi.
According to the District Police Office, the explosion occurred at the home of 36-year-old Mina Khadka in Matyari, Ward 6 of Dhangadhi Sub-Municipality, while a gas cylinder was being connected.
In addition to Khadka, 40-year-old local gas seller Govinda Joshi and Khadka’s 20-year-old daughter Chandra were injured. They are receiving treatment at Nisarg Hospital, and their condition is not life-threatening.
Khadka had called Joshi to her home to help connect the gas cylinder she had picked up from his shop. The police confirmed that the explosion happened while Joshi was connecting the cylinder.
