In this 26th February 2025 episode of Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein, Lakshmi asserts household responsibilities, prompting adjustments from Mukta and Teju. Aditi offers support while emotions run high over Mohit’s loss. Neil’s hidden concerns spark tension as he resists wedding discussions. Family struggles, responsibilities, and emotional conflicts unfold.
Lakshmi sternly reminds Mukta that her children must understand the luxuries they once enjoyed, funded by Mohit’s money, are no longer an option. She comments on their situation and firmly states that she will not give up her bed for anyone. In response, Aditi offers Lakshmi the bed, saying they will sleep on the floor instead. Lakshmi acknowledges Aditi’s words and invites her to share the bed, but Aditi declines, stating that she has some self-respect and will sleep with the others. She then asks Teju if she can adjust on the floor for the night, to which Teju agrees without complaint.
Lakshmi remarks again before instructing Mukta and Teju to take charge of the household chores starting the next day, as she will no longer be responsible for them. Sonali supports the decision, telling Mukta that they must accept their new circumstances and divide the responsibilities. Lakshmi then observes that while Sonali has spoken up, Teju has remained silent. Teju quickly reassures her mother that she will do her part and is willing to learn anything she does not yet know.
Aditi offers to teach Teju how to manage household duties. Shortly after, Sonali leaves while Mukta, her children, and Aditi settle on the floor for the night. Vedant asks for a pillow, but Teju tells him to manage for the night, promising to buy one the next day. Vedant accepts without protest.
Meanwhile, in another part of the house, Neil is preoccupied with his phone when Amai, Nandini, Prachi, and Yash quietly enter his room. Yash accidentally trips, drawing Neil’s attention. Startled, he quickly hides his phone as the group approaches. Sensing his troubled demeanor, they question him about his behavior since returning from Amaravati. Neil insists nothing is wrong, but Nandini presses him further, recalling what Leena had told them—that Neil visited a grieving family after the father’s passing. When asked about the family, Neil reluctantly shares that it consists of a woman and two children but questions why they are so interested. Amai expresses concern for the family’s well-being and wonders how they will cope with their loss.
Meanwhile, Aditi, lost in thought while trying to sleep, grows emotional over Mohit’s passing, regretting that she never had a chance to see him one last time. Lakshmi, in her usual curt manner, tells her to stop dwelling on it and go to sleep. However, later that night, Lakshmi herself silently mourns Mohit, shedding quiet tears.
Back in Neil’s room, he warns Amai and the others not to turn the matter into a joke. Nandini then shifts the conversation, asking if he is ready for wedding shopping the next day. Her words trigger an outburst from Neil, who exclaims that he is sick of hearing about marriage and wonders if life has anything else to offer. Shocked by his reaction, Nandini apologizes and prepares to leave, but Neil immediately regrets his response and apologizes in return. Amai urges him to open up about what is truly troubling him, but Neil remains unwilling to share his burden.
