Satish warns Sonali that rejecting Mukta and her children would bring shame to the family. Sonali’s husband agrees, concerned about avoiding unnecessary drama in front of others. However, Lakshmi stands firm, arguing that the real trouble will begin if Mukta and her children are accepted into their home. Facing Mukta directly, Lakshmi accuses her of destroying another woman’s marriage and showing up without shame. Mukta, on the other hand, defends herself, claiming she was unaware of Mohit’s existing marriage. Lakshmi refuses to believe her explanation, shutting down any sympathy.
Deepali attempts to support Mukta, but Lakshmi is unwilling to listen. At this point, Sonali’s husband intervenes, scolding Lakshmi and blaming her for Mohit’s unhappiness. Their heated argument escalates until he tells Lakshmi she is free to leave if she is dissatisfied. Lakshmi stands her ground, reminding them all that it was their family who arranged her marriage to Mohit. She insists that both she and her daughter will not be denied their rightful place in the household. Satish, trying to mediate, reassures Lakshmi that she remains Mohit’s lawful wife and insists that accepting Mukta is necessary to preserve the family’s public image. Reluctantly, Sonali agrees, prioritizing the family’s reputation over personal feelings. Lakshmi, however, remains bitter and continues to make sharp remarks.
In an effort to ease tensions, Aditi reaches out to Mukta and her daughter, Tejaswini, gently asking for the child’s name. When Tejaswini introduces herself, Aditi offers comforting words. But Lakshmi lashes out at Aditi, calling her naïve. Aditi responds with grace, acknowledging Lakshmi’s harsh words but affirming that Mohit loves her just as she is. She warmly welcomes Mukta and Tejaswini into the house, signaling her acceptance.
Meanwhile, Neil visits Mohit’s house, only to discover that the family has already left for Nagpur. Leaving his card behind, he asks to be informed of any developments. Upon returning home, Neil informs his family that he missed the opportunity to meet Mohit’s relatives. Leena reminds him of his scheduled meeting with a prospective bride, but Neil quietly pulls her aside and requests that the meeting be canceled.
