The popular TV drama Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is all set to go off-air in early July, following a consistent drop in TRP ratings. Despite multiple attempts to revive the show through a time leap and new lead characters, the revamped storyline failed to resonate with viewers.
Struggles Continue Despite Revamps
For weeks, rumors circulated about the show facing cancellation due to dwindling viewership numbers. In a bid to regain audience interest, the producers revamped the narrative and introduced fresh faces. Bhavika Sharma, who played Savi, was brought back as part of the final efforts to boost ratings. However, the changes did little to improve the show’s performance.
According to Telly Express, filming for the last episode wrapped up on Sunday, June 29. The concluding episodes are expected to air during the first week of July. The show’s finale reportedly sees Savi (Bhavika Sharma) and Neil (Param Singh) part ways on amicable terms, ending their romantic storyline.
Final Moments Shared by Lead Actors
Both Bhavika Sharma and Param Singh confirmed the wrap-up through their social media. Bhavika shared a mirror selfie captioned, “Definitely going to miss Savi,” along with a video of herself in her police role saying, “Last day.” Param, who made his TV comeback with this show, posted a video from the final shoot day with the caption, “Last day #backsoon.”

Hitesh Bhardwaj Approached Again
In recent news, reports suggested that actor Hitesh Bhardwaj was approached again by the makers after his previous departure from the show. Speaking exclusively to News18 Showsha, Hitesh said, “It’s not about regret. That show is very close to my heart. It would’ve been nice if it had worked out, but I’m happy with where I am and the work I’m doing. Shows like GHKKPM and Udaariyaan have helped shape my career, and I’ll always be grateful for them.”
About the Show
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin first premiered in 2020, starring Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, and Ayesha Singh. After a major time leap, the cast changed to Bhavika Sharma, Shakti Arora, and Hitesh Bhardwaj. In January 2024, the show underwent another revamp, bringing in Vaibhavi Hankare, Param Singh, and Sanam Johar as the new leads. Unfortunately, the latest changes failed to retain the audience’s attention, leading to the decision to end the series.
