On Thursday, the price of gold dropped by Rs. 4,600 per tola in a single day.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association set the price at Rs. 183,500 per tola for the day. The previous day’s rate was Rs. 188,100 per tola.
The drop in Nepal’s gold price followed a decline in the international market. Similarly, the price of silver fell by Rs. 50 per tola. Silver, which was priced at Rs. 1,965 per tola the previous day, has now decreased to Rs. 1,915.
