The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has officially opened applications for the National ICT Awards 2025.
Awards in 8 Different Categories
This year, the awards will be given in eight different categories. The goal is to recognize individuals and organizations that have contributed to the development and promotion of information and communication technology in Nepal.
The categories for the awards are:
- National ICT Excellence Award 2025
- National ICT Excellence Award 2025 (Women)
- National ICT Award 2025 (Public Sector)
- National ICT Award 2025 (Private Sector)
- National ICT Award 2025 (Public Sector – Provincial/Local)
- National ICT Award 2025 (Private Sector – Provincial/Local)
- National ICT Innovation Award 2025
- National ICT Startup Award 2025
Celebrating National ICT Day on May 14
Every year, the Government of Nepal celebrates May 14 (2nd of Jestha) as National ICT Day. On this occasion, the ministry honors outstanding contributions made in the field of information and communication technology.
Who Can Apply?
Individuals, public institutions, offices, or companies interested in applying can submit their applications. The ministry will select the best among them for the awards.

Application Deadline and Submission Method
The filled-out application form must be submitted by Baisakh 7, 2082 (April 19, 2025) before 5:00 PM. Applicants can either:
- Email the form to: ictaward@mocit.gov.np, or
- Submit it in person at the Information Technology Division, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
