Weinstein’s Response to Brody’s Speech
Brody, who won the Best Actor award for The Brutalist, expressed his admiration for Chapman and her children, Dash and India, in his heartfelt speech. According to People magazine, Weinstein’s representative stated, “Harvey is happy for Georgina and grateful that his kids are being loved and cared for as they deserve to be.”
Brody’s Emotional Tribute
During his speech, Brody recognized the challenges Chapman and her children have endured over the years.
“I share this with my amazing partner, Georgina, who has not only reinvigorated my own self-worth but also my sense of value and values,” Brody said. “And her beautiful children, Dash and India, I know this has been a rollercoaster, but thank you for accepting me into your life. Popsy’s coming home a winner!”
Georgina Chapman’s Relationships
Chapman and Weinstein were married from 2007 to 2018 and share two children. Since 2019, Chapman has been in a relationship with Brody, and the couple has been seen together at multiple public events, including the Oscars.
Weinstein’s prison sentence has been fraught with legal battles, including the overturning of his 2020 New York convictions in April 2024. He remains behind bars due to his 2022 convictions for sex crimes in California and is currently awaiting a retrial.
