A tragic helicopter crash in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand, India, has claimed the lives of five people.
The helicopter was returning from the famous Kedarnath Temple with passengers who had just finished their visit. According to Dainik Bhaskar, the victims include the pilot and a child.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that search and rescue teams have already been sent to the crash site.
Indian media reports say the helicopter was heading towards Gaurikund from Kedarnath when the accident happened. Bad weather is believed to be the reason for the crash.
The helicopter belonged to Aryan Aviation. According to the Civil Aviation Office of Uttarakhand, the passengers were from different Indian states, including Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.
