Last night, the Indira Gandhi Arena in Delhi turned into a musical paradise as hundreds of fans donning ‘HR’ caps gathered for Himesh Reshammiya’s much-awaited Cap-Mania concert. And true to form, Himesh delivered a show packed with nostalgia, energy, and emotion.

As the spotlight hit the stage, Himesh appeared in his signature cap and an oversized jacket, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Fans waved their phones high, recording every beat, every note — every suroor-filled moment.

From soul-touching numbers like Aashiq Banaya Aapne to ultimate party anthems like Tandoori Nights and Hookah Bar, the singer gave Delhi a night to remember.

An Emotional Pause for Heroes

One of the most powerful moments of the evening came when the singer paused his set to pay tribute to India’s brave soldiers, especially those involved in Operation Sindoor. With the tricolour lighting up the stage, Himesh said, “Let’s always remember and thank those because of whom we are alive and free.” The crowd responded with thunderous applause.

Classic Himesh: “Naak se gaaun?”

In true Himesh fashion, the singer playfully asked the crowd whether he should sing in his regular voice or his signature nasal tone. “Thoda regular gaaun ya naak se gaaun?” he teased. When fans cheered for the nasal version, Himesh broke into a few lines — setting the audience roaring with excitement.

Not Just a Concert — A Full-On Suroor Fest

The show also featured electrifying performances by Himesh’s wife Sonia Kapoor, singers Pragati Nagpal, Arjun Tanwar, and Maahi, adding more colour to the evening.

Soon after the concert, Himesh posted a clip from the performance on Instagram, captioned: “Jai MATADI Let’s Rock. delhi you were historic amazing, love you all.”

Following the Delhi leg, the Cap-Mania Tour is headed to Chennai, with the next show set for August 16 at Nehru Indoor Stadium.

Meanwhile, Himesh was last seen in the film Badass Ravi Kumar, which received a mixed response and earned ₹10.98 crore globally.

To ensure smooth traffic during the concert on July 19 and 20, Delhi Traffic Police had issued advisories for both attendees and commuters.
