Honor is ready to launch two new 5G smartphones, the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro, on May 22. Before the official release, the company has shared some details on its website, giving a glimpse of what to expect.
The Honor 400 Pro comes with a 200-megapixel main camera featuring a large 1/1.4-inch sensor. It also includes a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization, along with a 12MP ultra-wide camera that covers a 112-degree field of view. For selfies, there is a 50MP front camera. The phone’s screen supports up to 5,000 nits peak brightness, has a resolution of 1280×2800 pixels, and offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone has IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings. Additional features include NFC, dual speakers, and an IR blaster. It weighs 205 grams and is 8.1mm thick. The phone will be available in Midnight Black, Lunar Grey, and Tidal Blue colors.
The Honor 400 has a camera setup like the Pro model but lacks the telephoto lens. It runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with the same 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Its screen brightness matches the Pro’s, but the resolution is slightly lower at 1264×2736 pixels. The battery is also 6,000mAh but supports only 80W wired charging. It weighs 184 grams and is slimmer at 7.3mm. Available colors are Black, Gold, and Silver. The Honor 400 has an IP66 rating and comes with five-star drop resistance for better durability.
