“Hostel 3” has made an impressive business at the domestic box office. In the first six days of its release, the film’s nationwide earnings were recorded as 2 crore 20 lakh, according to the Box Office of the Film Development Board.
What’s interesting is that on Wednesday, the night shows at major multiplexes were almost fully booked. With the public holiday on Thursday due to the festival, collections are expected to remain strong.
The projection is that the collection will reach around 2.5 crore by Thursday of the first week. Most of the viewers in the theaters are young audiences. Having released with 150 shows on Friday, the film is expected to continue its successful earnings into the second weekend with the help of positive word of mouth.
Directed by Sashan Kandel “Santosh”, the film tells the story of college and hostel life. The film features performances by Paras Bam Thakuri, Simran Pant, Rihan Giri, Ashish Ghimire, Hema Nagarkoti, Padam Tamang, and others.
