Housefull 5 Box Office Day 3: Akshay Kumar’s Film Makes a Powerful Impact Globally

Housefull 5 Box Office- Tarun Mansukhani’s comedy blockbuster Housefull 5 is off to a flying start at the global box office. The film, packed with stars like Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Soundarya Sharma, made an impressive ₹142.40 crore worldwide in just three days.

Strong Start at Indian and Overseas Box Office

According to data from Sacnilk, Housefull 5 collected ₹87.5 crore net and ₹104.40 crore gross in India during its opening weekend. The film also earned ₹38 crore from international markets, taking its worldwide total to ₹142.40 crore in just three days.

The makers claim the Indian net collection has already crossed ₹91.83 crore, suggesting even stronger domestic numbers than early estimates.

Surpassing Box Office Records

In just one weekend, Housefull 5 has beaten the lifetime collection of Sunny Deol’s Jaat, which stood at ₹118.36 crore. It’s also set to surpass Kesari Chapter 2—another Akshay Kumar film that ended its run at ₹144.62 crore.

If the weekday numbers remain steady, Housefull 5 could even cross Akshay’s recent hit Sky Force, which earned ₹149 crore.

Big Films Ahead in the Race

As Housefull 5 climbs up the charts, it still has a few major titles to beat. Salman Khan’s Sikandar (₹184.6 crore) and Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 (₹233.7 crore) are next in line. However, topping the massive ₹807.88 crore box office collection of Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava looks unlikely—at least for now.

What Is Housefull 5 About?

Housefull 5 follows the chaotic and hilarious story of three men named Jolly who are all suspected of killing a wealthy industrialist during a cruise trip. The film has a unique twist: it features two different endings with two different killers, depending on the theatre you watch it in.

The film also features a massive ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Chunky Pandey, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, and Nikitin Dheer.
