In a tragic and shocking incident from Arghakhanchi’s Chhatradev Rural Municipality-3, a woman allegedly killed her husband while he was asleep.
According to police, 27-year-old Mekhmaya Kumal struck her husband, 38-year-old Ramu Kumal, on the head with a sharp weapon around 12:30 midnight. He died on the spot. The attack reportedly came after a minor domestic argument earlier that evening.
Police Inspector Jhalak Prasad Sharma confirmed that the husband was attacked from behind while he was sleeping. Mekhmaya has been taken into custody by police from her home on Sunday morning.
