Hyeri Addresses Ticket Scalping Issues Ahead of 15th Anniversary Fan Meetings

Hyeri is set to celebrate her 15th anniversary in the entertainment industry by holding two special fan meetings, marking her first-ever solo fan interaction. The events have generated considerable excitement among both the actress-singer and her fans. However, the ticketing process has been marred by some issues, leading to frustration and disappointment. On April 16, Hyeri and her agency addressed the ticket resale problem, which had been reported by K-media outlet Insight.

Taking to a fan communication platform, Hyeri shared her reaction to the situation. She admitted that it was her first time facing such a problem, describing herself as flustered and surprised. Initially, she felt joy when hearing that both fan meetings had sold out in just one minute. However, upon closer inspection, she discovered that many tickets had been purchased through illegal means and were being resold at higher prices. Hyeri expressed her disappointment, stating, “I was initially happy, but then I realized there was foul play involved, and I am upset and sorry.”

The fan meetings, which are part of Hyeri’s 15th anniversary celebrations, are set to take place on June 7 at the ECC Samsung Hall in Seoul. Tickets went on sale on April 14. However, with the issue of ticket scalping coming to light, Hyeri’s agency, Sublime Artist Agency, released a statement urging fans to purchase tickets only from official channels. The agency emphasized that the tickets for Hyeri’s fanmeeting tour, titled Welcome to Hyeri’s Studio in Seoul, are exclusively available through Ticketlink and warned that no tickets can be purchased from other sources.

Sublime Artist Agency further clarified that tickets bought from unofficial channels, including secondhand sales, transfers, or resale websites, will not be refunded or canceled. In addition, Hyeri issued a stern warning to fans who may attempt to bypass the official channels. She said, “It is strictly prohibited to buy tickets from others. If the ticket holder and the person attending the fan meeting are not the same, entry will be denied.” Expressing her concern for her fans, Hyeri added, “It would be heartbreaking if someone traveled all the way to the venue and was unable to enter due to these issues.”

With the agency’s firm stance on preventing ticket scalping, fans are being urged to ensure they only use authorized platforms to secure their tickets, ensuring a smooth experience for everyone involved.
