Makwanpur police have recovered a homemade pistol (katwa), five rounds of bullets, and over 2.4 kg of opium from Raksirang Rural Municipality-1, Dhungena.
The unclaimed items were discovered around 8:30 PM on Saturday, hidden in a white sack wrapped in plastic under a mango tree in the field of Chandralal Moktan.
According to DSP Shyamu Aryal, the District Police Office is actively investigating the case to identify those involved.
