A series of drone attacks carried out by India targeting several locations in Pakistan since Thursday morning has resulted in the death of one civilian.
According to a statement released by the Pakistani military on Thursday, five people — including four military personnel — were injured. The media wing of the Pakistani army, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said in a press release that since the onset of the tension, a combination of electronic countermeasures and kinetic fire has been used to shoot down 25 Harop drones.
Earlier, during a media briefing, ISPR Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary stated that a drone had partially struck a military installation near Lahore, the capital of Punjab province. Four personnel were injured in the incident, and minor damage was caused to the equipment.
In a separate incident in the Miano area of Sindh province, one civilian was killed and another injured.
