A tragic road accident in Bahudarmai-5, Parsa claimed the life of an Indian national on Saturday night. Both vehicles involved were completely burnt down after crashing and falling off the road.
The incident occurred around 9:30 PM, when a Sumo vehicle (BR 01 PA 4409) heading from Mahuwan to Dakailla collided with a motorbike coming from the opposite direction. After the crash, both the SUV and the motorcycle fell 4 meters down the roadside and caught fire.
The motorbike rider, 38-year-old Naresh Sah Barnwal from East Champaran, Bihar, suffered critical injuries and died during treatment at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj around 10 PM.
The pillion rider, 19-year-old Roshan Kumar Barnwal from Parsa Bahudarmai-5, is undergoing treatment at the same hospital. Police have confirmed that the Sumo driver fled the scene, and a search is currently underway.
