On the sixth anniversary of his 2019 film Kesari, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has hinted at Kesari 2. The actor shared a special video on his social media, announcing that more details will be revealed soon.
Akshay Kumar’s Exciting Announcement of Kesari 2
The 57-year-old actor took to his X account and posted a video featuring stills from the original movie. The video contained a message that said, “Details regarding the sequel will be announced tomorrow.”
Akshay, who played Havildar Ishar Singh in Kesari, also wrote in the caption, “Celebrating 6 years of Kesari. Celebrating the spirit of Kesari. Celebrating a new chapter that begins… soon.”
About Kesari
Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari starred Akshay Kumar as Havildar Ishar Singh, a soldier in the British Indian Army who led 21 Sikh warriors in the Battle of Saragarhi. The film also featured Parineeti Chopra and depicted the historic 1897 battle between 21 Sikh soldiers of the 36th Sikh Regiment and 10,000 Pashtun invaders.
