Zendaya and Tom Holland’s wedding is not happening anytime soon, according to Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach. While the couple confirmed their engagement earlier this year in January, Roach shared a new update at the Fashion Trust Awards on April 8 in Los Angeles.
“It’s far away,” Roach told E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes. “They’re both very busy with a number of movie projects this year, and there are a lot of premieres lined up for next year, so fans will get to see them on plenty of red carpets.” He added with a smile, “I’m resting up for 2026.”
Zendaya and Tom got engaged during the holiday season, with Zendaya showing off her engagement ring for the first time at the Golden Globes in January. Tom’s father, Dominic Holland, confirmed the engagement on January 10 through a post on his Patreon page.
“He had purchased a ring,” Dominic wrote. “He had spoken with her father and received permission to propose. Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, and what to wear.”
Though the couple has kept most details about the engagement private, the public sighting of the engagement ring and confirmation from Tom’s father gave fans clarity about the big news.
Both Zendaya and Tom have full work schedules, which seems to be the reason behind the delay in their wedding planning. Zendaya has multiple movie projects on her plate, while Tom is also busy with his own film commitments.
They will reunite professionally in two highly anticipated projects: Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. These productions will keep them occupied for the rest of this year and into the next.
Despite their packed schedules, Zendaya and Tom have spoken about how much they enjoy working together. In a past interview with Vanity Fair, Zendaya praised Tom for his dedication, noting how talented and passionate he is about his work. She admired his commitment, even when he was exhausted, and appreciated how natural it felt working alongside him.
Tom also opened up about their on-set relationship during an appearance on the Dish podcast. He joked that studios enjoyed the convenience of them sharing a hotel room. On a more serious note, he shared that having Zendaya by his side on set provided him with a comforting sense of support.
