Jacqueline Fernandez was seen arriving at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday to be with her mother, Kim, who was recently hospitalized after suffering a heart stroke. Kim is currently in the ICU, and Jacqueline has been staying by her side as the family waits for updates from the doctors.
Wearing a black mask and a white salwar kameez, Jacqueline hurried into the hospital, avoiding the paparazzi as she made her way inside.
The actor had been scheduled to perform at the IPL 2025 opening ceremony but decided to drop out to be with her mother during this difficult time. A source close to Jacqueline revealed that she was set to attend the IPL game in Guwahati between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26. However, due to her mother’s condition, Jacqueline made the choice to stay with her family.
In addition to Jacqueline, Salman Khan, her co-star from Kick, was also seen at the hospital, offering his support to Jacqueline and her family.
Jacqueline, who debuted in Bollywood with the 2009 film Aladin opposite Riteish Deshmukh, has had a successful career with hit films like Housefull 2, Murder 2, Kick, Brothers, Dishoom, and Judwaa 2. Her most recent project was Fateh, where she starred alongside Sonu Sood. The action-packed film, available on JioHotstar, also marks Sonu Sood’s directorial debut.
