In the 23rd February 2025 episode of Jagriti, Akash defies his father Kalikant, choosing love over his inheritance and standing by Jagriti. Despite the challenges, Jagriti remains determined to help the Chitta people. As tensions rise, both Akash and Jagriti take bold steps to secure a future together. Will love and loyalty triumph over legacy?
The episode begins with Akash confronting Kalikant, reminding him of his past love for Kalindi despite his marriage to Ganga. This comment infuriates Kalikant, and in a moment of anger, he slaps Akash but then softens, acknowledging Akash’s skills and letting the insult slide. He commands Akash to forget about Jagriti, but Akash stands his ground, refusing to comply. Kalikant, in a final attempt to control the situation, offers Akash an ultimatum—either choose Jagriti and leave the family, or stay and forget her. Akash, unshaken, chooses Jagriti over his father’s empire.
Meanwhile, Jagriti’s friends question her relationship with Akash. Suraj, seeking to cause trouble, mocks her before taking extreme measures. He has gasoline poured around Jagriti and sets it on fire, knowing her intense fear of flames. As the fire engulfs her, Akash arrives just in time to save her from the danger.
Akash, furious, warns Suraj to stay away from Jagriti, declaring that he has given up his inheritance for her. Suraj retorts that Jagriti still holds a grudge against Akash, but Akash insists that she has forgiven him. Sapna, loyal to Suraj, openly supports him, causing Suraj to feel validated. However, Jagriti expresses concern about how Akash will be able to help the Chitta people without the inheritance.
Later, Suraj attempts to manipulate Kalikant by suggesting that Akash marrying Jagriti and inheriting the empire would be a disaster. Meanwhile, Kalikant receives a call from the police demanding a hefty bribe to cover up Suraj’s failed attempt to harm Jagriti, further enraging him.
Bindi reassures the Chitta people, telling them that Akash has not abandoned their cause but simply renounced his claim to the inheritance. The community, along with Jagriti, pledges their support. Jagriti, however, urges Akash to reclaim his position as Kalikant’s heir in order to truly help the Chitta people. Encouraged by her, Akash asks her if she loves him, to which she responds passionately, confessing her deep love. She then reveals a plan to help him regain his rightful place in the family.
Ganga and Kalikant have a heated argument about their sons, with Ganga defending Akash and his potential. She suggests that if Akash marries Jagriti, at least Kalikant won’t have to worry about him choosing a Chitta girl. Kalikant considers her proposal, deep in thought.
In the final scene, Suraj confronts Jagriti at the canteen, questioning her sudden change of heart and suspecting that she may have an ulterior motive in forgiving Akash. Jagriti dismisses his suspicions and walks away, leaving Suraj uncertain and suspicious of her intentions.
