Neel seeks the blessings of Parameshwari, who subtly hints at a wish left unspoken—one he must fulfill. At the same time, Sumati confronts Manjari about Neel’s decision to become a ghar jamai, or live-in son-in-law. In a fit of anger, Sumati slaps Manjari, blaming her for keeping such a secret and accusing her of failing to raise their children properly. Manjari, filled with sorrow, explains how Neel had prevented her from stepping in. She herself feels the weight of the situation. Gangadhar, however, steps in and firmly declares that no one should mention Neel’s name again, for he has made his choice to live separately.
Elsewhere, Riddhi is tending to Kanchan when she steps out to call for a doctor. Neel arrives and taunts Kanchan, revealing his true motives. He confesses that his marriage to Riddhi isn’t out of love, but rather out of a desire for revenge. Neel accuses Kanchan of stealing his home and vows to ruin her relationships—he plans to turn Riddhi against her and make Pratham distrust her—all within six months. When Kanchan presses him about the time frame, Neel coldly responds that he can no longer tolerate her.
When Riddhi returns and asks about the gift Neel brought for Kanchan, Kanchan tries to brush it off, but Riddhi insists that emotions matter more than material value.
