Coach Confirms Jasprit Bumrah‘s Availability
Mumbai Indians head coach Mahela Jayawardene confirmed Bumrah’s availability in Sunday’s press conference. “He is training today and will be available for tomorrow’s game,” said Jayawardene.
Back After Passing Fitness Tests
Bumrah arrived in Mumbai on Saturday night after clearing all required tests at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). He then joined the MI squad and coordinated with the team’s physios.
On Sunday evening, he visited Wankhede Stadium, assessed the pitch, did some shadow bowling, and bowled to Rohit Sharma in the nets.

Bumrah’s return is seen as a big relief for Mumbai Indians. His experience, ability to guide young bowlers, and coordination with players like Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar could strengthen the team significantly.
