Lee Kang Hee, CEO of JDB Entertainment and longtime representative of prominent comedians such as Kim Jun Ho and Kim Dae Hee, is under scrutiny following allegations of an extramarital affair with a female idol singer, identified only as “B.”
According to a June 17 report by TenAsia, multiple sources within the entertainment industry have accused Lee—who is married and has two children—of maintaining an inappropriate relationship with B, a member of a girl group managed by another agency. Industry insiders claimed the pair were frequently seen together in private settings following official schedules. Public sightings reportedly included instances of them holding hands and embracing late at night.
One insider from the performance industry alleged that Lee was often seen picking B up in a luxury vehicle for outings. “Even in group gatherings, B consistently sat beside Lee,” the source said.
An executive within JDB Entertainment, identified as “C,” confirmed the company had recently become aware of the alleged relationship. “Lee Kang Hee admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with B,” the executive said, adding, “Given the seriousness of the situation, the company is currently deliberating over possible disciplinary measures.”

Lee, who has previously appeared on MBC’s popular variety program Point of Omniscient Interfere, was contacted by TenAsia on June 16. In response to questions about the allegations, he stated, “I cannot say anything at this time.”
The controversy has widened as it was revealed that B is signed under a different agency led by another CEO, referred to as “A.” A is also facing public backlash following the emergence of photos showing him engaging in affectionate behavior with a member of the same girl group, sparking speculation about multiple inappropriate relationships involving agency heads and their artists.
In response to the allegations, JDB Entertainment issued a brief statement: “We are in the process of verifying the facts related to the allegations concerning A and B. We sincerely apologize for causing concern.”
Meanwhile, B has deactivated her personal social media accounts amid growing public interest and speculation surrounding the case.
The matter continues to stir discussion across the entertainment industry, with both fans and insiders awaiting further developments.
