The episode opens with Mimi telling Choton that she is happy his wedding is taking place before she leaves the house. Choton reassures her that this will always be her home, even after his marriage. Mimi embraces him, and Dadi reminds Choton that they must start the haldi ceremony at the right time. Choton calls for Jhanak, but Bipasha tells him that Jhanak isn’t a married woman, so she shouldn’t be involved in the rituals. Arshi also comments on how Jhanak seems eager to act as though she’s a married woman, despite her previous marriage being fake.
Dadi insists that Jhanak stay away from the wedding rituals, saying her presence brings bad luck. Anirudh questions this, but Dadi continues, explaining that Jhanak has faced too many misfortunes to be part of the ceremony. Choton disagrees and expresses his desire for Jhanak to participate in the wedding celebrations.
Meanwhile, Jhimli asks Anindo why their wedding isn’t taking place in a temple. Anindo scolds her for discussing everything with Anuradha. When Jhimli points out that there is no priest, Anindo tells her they’ll marry in front of his friends instead. Jhimli, feeling unenthusiastic, questions the lack of excitement. Anindo assures her that they will have a proper wedding with his parents’ permission later. As his friends joke about their first night together, Jhimli is disappointed by his behavior. Anindo brushes it off, saying it doesn’t matter, and the marriage mantra is played. But Jhimli refuses to marry like this. Anindo responds by saying he never begged her to marry him. Jhimli is upset by his attitude, but he proceeds to apply vermilion to her forehead. His friend announces that it’s time to eat, but Jhimli criticizes the food, saying it’s not from a good restaurant.
Anindo insists she should at least try the food and tells her he doesn’t want to waste her money. Jhimli snaps back that she eats better food in her neighborhood. Anindo tells her to go back if she doesn’t like it. As she storms off, his friend warns that she might take the money with her. Anindo, however, is confident that he has no proof of the money exchange. His friend suggests he should try to convince her to stay. Anindo approaches Jhimli again and reminds her that it’s their wedding day, encouraging her to be happy. Jhimli remains skeptical, questioning if he plans to betray her. He asks why she would think that.
Jhanak, meanwhile, reassures Choton that she doesn’t feel upset because she knows she’s not unlucky. Tanuja expresses interest in why Jhanak didn’t marry Vihaan, but Jhanak responds that she married Anirudh in front of God and understands what that union means. She tells Arshi that she has no expectations from the marriage and wants to focus on enjoying Choton’s wedding and the haldi ceremony. Apu adds that if Lalon were present, he would have taught everyone a lesson, and Jhanak jokingly suggests they should dance.
Vihaan, still dwelling on the past, wonders how Anirudh could have rejected Jhanak. Anirudh, however, asks him to stop bringing up old matters. Vihaan mentions that he plans to leave after Choton’s wedding, and Jhanak joins the dance.
