The episode begins with Vihaan asking Jhanak if she has reconsidered her decision. Jhanak remains firm, stating that his family does not like her. However, Vihaan insists that she should attend for Ahaan’s sake. He subtly hints that he might leave his home in the future, as Ahaan needs her presence. Meanwhile, Anirudh overhears their conversation. Jhanak confesses that she has missed Ahaan.
Elsewhere, Bipasha confronts Laal about his visit to Basti. Although Laal denies going, Bipasha suspects that Kaka might have lied. Laal acknowledges the possibility. Bipasha then claims she has some major news to share.
At home, Dadi is relieved that the haldi ceremony went smoothly. She questions Arshi about her decision to skip the wedding, but Arshi refuses, unwilling to take any risks. Dadi, although still disliking Jhanak, admits that they have no choice but to let her stay. Just then, Bipasha arrives with Laal, revealing shocking news—Jhimli has run away with the money. She considers it a well-deserved fate for Lalon and expresses happiness over it. Laal agrees with her, and Bipasha decides to visit the temple to offer thanks.
Dadi asks Bipasha if she plans to attend the wedding, but Bipasha, caught up in the news, had completely forgotten about it. She then prays for misfortune to befall Jhanak. When Choton arrives, Bipasha congratulates him, but he scolds her instead. Laal steps in, questioning Choton’s reaction, while Bipasha argues that he has no right to reprimand her. Observing their argument, Tanuja points it out to Dadi. Dadi instructs Choton to go and prepare for the wedding. Arshi comments that Choton will never understand her, but he asserts that Jhanak is his responsibility. Dadi then dismisses him.
As preparations for the wedding continue, Choton seeks Shubh’s blessings. Meanwhile, Arshi notices Jhanak is ready and questions her presence. Jhanak reassures her that she will leave soon. Anjana offers to stay with Arshi, but Choton notes that even Meenu wants Jhanak to attend the wedding. He remarks that Anjana’s absence would be due to Arshi’s stubbornness. Hearing this, Arshi tells Anjana to go ahead and attend the ceremony, not wanting her to miss it. Anjana, before leaving, advises Jhanak to enjoy the event.
Anirudh, however, decides to stay with Arshi, declaring that she is his responsibility. Choton challenges his sudden concern, but Arshi insists that she does not need anyone. Anjana suggests that Arshi is merely speaking out of anger. Despite this, Arshi urges everyone to leave for the wedding. Bablu reminds them that Arshi is an adult and tells Anjana to get ready. Tanuja offers to stay back, but Arshi refuses, stating that she only needs her maid.
Mimi takes offense and questions how Arshi could refer to her own sister as a maid. Arshi, visibly annoyed, tells Mimi to remain silent. Mimi, however, reminds everyone that Jhanak is, in fact, Arshi’s sister. Jhanak urges Choton to go, but he sarcastically remarks that if Arshi needs a maid, Jhanak should accompany him instead. Shubh interrupts, warning that if they continue arguing, the wedding will be delayed. Dadi adds that Choton’s marriage will not take place peacefully if Jhanak is absent.
Choton then challenges Arshi by asking how much she pays Jhanak. Arshi coldly responds that Jhanak only receives a place to stay. Anirudh, frustrated, questions how Arshi could label Jhanak a maid. Once again, he insists on staying with Arshi. Before leaving, Choton tells Arshi to call Anirudh if she needs anything. In response, Arshi accuses Choton of deliberately trying to ensure that Anirudh and Jhanak attend the wedding together.
